Women Leadership & Representation (WLR)

Due to the acknowledged facts that 51% of the global population is female, 59% of University diplomas are held by women, 61% of PhD are held by women (as per report from the European Commission), we believe that Female Leadership and Representation in Orthopaedics is a very important and relevant subject in EORS 2017.
A WLR-Session will be organized with Adhiambo Witlox as Keynote Speaker.
Young Investigator (YI)

EORS has strong tradition in acknowledging the importance of young investigator in orthopaedics science. Activities on this topic in EORS 2017 will include:
A great opportunity for YIs to enjoy lunch with a mentor, including keynote speakers, ERC researchers, members of the Scientific Committee. A panel of mentors will be assigned to a limited number of Students/YIs for each Mentor to improve discussion and favour scientific exchange, having their questions answered in a relaxed and open discussion.
